The Indian community of sports climbing has witnessed 4 (Four) medals including gold at the recent Asian Youth Climbing Championship in Bengaluru. Wherein, Japan had not lacked in dominating the overall podium. It was 3 (Three) days event inaugurated by the Hon’ble Minister of Rural Development, Panchayat Raj Minister Mr. Eshwarappa.
It is a proud moment to describe hereinbelow the Indian team results, which are as follows:
Female Youth A Category Speed
Gold - Shivpreet Pannu (Chandigarh)
Bronze- Shivani Charak (Jammu)
Female Youth B Category Speed
Silver- Anisha Verma (Jharkhand)
Bronze - Sania Shaik (Pune)
We hope you praise all the efforts put in by these young climbing team to bring glory to the nation. They deserve much appreciation and we congratulate all other participants and encourage their best efforts made in the said event.
