BIO
I first got my hands on skateboarding in 2017 but at that time I was taking this sport as a time-pass activity as I used to visit Bandra BKC city park mainly for my dance practices. I remember looking at one of the group who used to practice skateboarding which used to create excitement in my head about knowing skateboarding. The day when one of the skateboarders Azar Sayeed Hussain gifted me a skateboard, this changed my perspective and skateboarding became my passion.
In my initial days, I used to practice skateboarding with the meteoric group but as I started travelling and meeting other skateboarders, I felt I should deepen my horizon and learn to enjoy the company of other skateboarders which can help me develop my skills and make me a better human being too.
My first competition was Jugaad and that was an adventurous journey as my parents didn't allow me to travel to Bangalore but somehow I made it there and got to meet so many skateboarders from all corners of India.
I aim to represent India in International competitions and raise awareness among people about sports because the majority of the people in India are still not aware of my sport and grow the community.
MY LIFE's MISSION
I want to become a professional skateboarder and empower a younger generation by spreading the importance of gravity and extreme sports, studying physical exercise, psychology of sports of sports & nutrition. I want our society to know we exist as an individual and one can earn a livelihood from being in extreme sports and become a role model for others.
We are looking for sponsors for Shruti Bhosle which can motivate better training, diet and performance. Please contact us at whatcultureorg@gmail.com for more information/collaborations/sponosrship.
